Sticky Pad

I used Optimum Polish with a wool polishing pad last weekend. The pad got all sticky like glue, and the wash didn't take it out. Anyone know why that is, and how I could remove it?

Could of been something on the paint?

A little off topic but why did you use a wool pad with OP?

because I dont have any foam pads, and the wool one was the least aggressive one I had. It worked...the pad is just messed now. What if I soaked it in dish detergent?

Any good APC, then brush it out good.
