I'll just finish off the rest of the pics I uploaded in one shot... ;)

2011 Subaru WRX STi. I detailed it a couple years ago when it was new. Owner overall has done a nice job keeping the swirls at bay but with soft paint, there is only so much you can do.

Mostly light defects and the majority were in the hood.

After

Optimum Hyper Polish worked on the hood, the rest of the car...well, everything stuck to the paint. OHP, HD Polish, #205 and G-P-S. Ended up using ONR and an MF pad. Ugh.

ONR wash, Opti-Raser pink to clay

Optimum Hyper Polish, Optimum MF cutting pad, Rupes 21 on the hood

ONR sprayed onto the paint, buffed with an Optimum MF polishing pad, Rupes 21

Opti-Seal

Optimum Metal Polish on tips

Armor All on tires/wheels

2011 BMW 335is. Detailed it early fall, and now again in early December (told you I was behind posting stuff!). Owner had done a nice job keeping it clean and swirl free so it didn't need much.

ONR wash (no need to clay this time)

HD Polish, Optimum MF cutting pad, Rupes 21

Opti-Seal

Armor All on tires/wheel wells

2010 Toyota Sienna. Focus was on the interior, exterior was actually pretty swirl free. Mats were really bad.

Much better!

Interior:

Woolite/water @ 20:1 to clean leather and vinyl

Optimum Carpet Shampoo @ 3:1 to clean carpets and mats

Optimum Protectant Plus on vinyl

Meguiars Gold Class Leather Conditioner on leather

Pics a bit dark, it was sunset when I finished.

Exterior:

ONR wash, Opti-Clay yellow

Optimum G-P-S, Optimum MF cutting pad, Rupes 21

Armor All on tires/wheel wells

2010 BMW X5. Paint was mostly good, did have some water spots on the front fenders and hood that took some pressure to remove. Otherwise swirls were pretty minimal.

ONR wash, Opti-Raser pink to clay

Optimum Hyper Polish, Optimum MF cutting pad, Rupes 21

Optimum Opti-Seal

3D Trim Protectant on the lower cladding

2010 BMW 335. I do more E90/92/93s than any other vehicle. Very familiar with them and their hard paint! This one has some light holograms and spider swirls so it took two steps to really bring the finish back.

ONR wash, Opti-Clay yellow

Meguiars M100, Meguiars MF cutting pad, Rupes 21

Optimum Hyper Polish, Optimum orange foam cutting pad, Rupes 21

Opti-Seal

Swirls can be seen in this thread, digital camera ones didn't turn out well. http://www.autopia.org/forum/topic/132486-just-some-quickies-full-write-ups-to-come/

2007 Honda Pilot, owner is a lady I road bike with, she called me out to "pimp her ride"

The main goal going into winter was protection, she said it had been quite a while since it had received anything beyond a wash. So I was surprised the paint was in reasonably decent shape swirl-wise but it definitely needed some claying.

The 525 that was so hammered:

Not perfect but owner wasn't paying for it, he was paying for "better" ;)

BMW's …unbelievable! Soccer mom van, amazing exterior, interior exceptionally clean! "F" car, work of art! What do you use to dust off the rotary? Lol!

Nice work..

On the STI,  I have that same color on my 13 Legacy.

I thought the paint was fairly easy to correct and I sealed it with Opti-Coat. Amazing how nice it turned out.

The STI sure looked nice....

Did you have any issues with the Ferrari paint being that it's an older original paint or was it repainted at some point?

thx

The Ferrari was mostly original paint, A few areas had been touched up, match wasn't great up close but from 5-6 feet it looked good enough. No problems polishing it.
