starting over

i want to remove everything on my car up to the clear coat... can i use vinegar and dish washing soap?



after.. i just plan to add a layer of wax and call it a day. car is an 07 by the way and bought in feb. in so. cali. weather.

A dawn wash would be sufficient, or your could just do a light hand polish. I would choose the later to ensure a clean slate prior to the wax.
