I wish . . .
Well, yesterday we took the V down to paint/clearcoat & started over . . .
It was last washed on Memorial Day weekend, but had been maintained with PB S&W & QD+
over the summer and didn't see rain until Friday night . . .
nice beading, but after the rain dried, here's how he looked . . .
So he really needed to be cleaned up!
Started with Mullet Wash (nice smell, good suds & lubricity), hurried to dry the windows
(SuperSoft Waffle Weave Drying Towels from PAC), then dried the rest
and quickly moved him back into the garage to cool off
before we started claying with PB Clay & S&W . . .
Pic of front hood after claying . . .
Then we applied PB PwC with PC on 4 (easy on, easy off with the PC, but may have "overworked" it because there was some dusting & almost nothing left to wipe off after).
Hood after PB PwC . . .
Then it was on to the EX-P with PC @ 4~5. Once again the problem with dusting, but the results were worth it - IMHO!!
Honda within a Honda (that's my '85 Civic Wagon reflected in the side of the V)
Since the sun had passed, I moved it outside for the following pics . . .
