Stains on Carpeted Headliner

I've cleaned "soda" spray which sprayed up top on a customers "headliner" which is carpeted. As well on another, a cigarette butt burned a stain on another.

I gave it the Sean T Busch oxi clean and brush but found the soft carpet to "fray" with my brushing. Now the stain is out, but the carpeted is frayed and I had to trim it down.

Is there any method which removes the stain but does not disturb the carpet headliner

as much ?

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

thx

For soda on headliners, I use a MF and woolite 1:6. Wring out MF so it is only damp, not soaking, and rub GENLTY using short strokes. So far, so good.

I use the same method as well, in fact I just cleaned my gf's headliner last night. After seeing Paul's (white95max) progress on his car, I had to try it out.

I think the only way you'd be able to not fray the delicate material is to try blotting it instead of scrubbing.

Use the solution with an MF (saturated) and rub it in. Follow with a dry MF.

You could also try Folex or Kids&Pets, just spray on, let dwell, and wipe away.
