stain on my paint

Ok, so there is a stain on the hood that seems to have been caused my either bird poop or sap from a tree. I tried removing it with my UDM and Sonus Paint Cleaner and then the Sonus Polisher (SFX 2 I believe), but it would not come out. Any suggestions?

Do you have a picture? Sometimes a bird etch will just be permanent. Have you previously removed any defects with your UDM (swirls, scratches)?
