SSR2 vs. SSR2.5

I know that 2.5 is stronger than 2, but just how much? I currently have PP, SSR1, and SSR2. I think I may need to step to 2.5 for my weekend car as it has some scratches that did not come out with 2/cutting pad. Since 2 is not something I need for any other cars (both others are 2005's, so I hope I won't need it!!), I still have quite a bit left. Could I just use that more (go over panel a few times) rather than stepping up to 2.5? The car sits in the garage all winter, so time isn't too much of an issue. I'm trying to use up products I already have before buying new stuff, and with only 3 cars it is taking awhile.

Sorry i don't think you will achieve the same results even with multiple passes. they are two totally different products with SSR2.5 being much more aggressive at the start. SSR2 can be used on the newer vehicles and don't be putting it some place where you can't find it:lol You'll probably be looking for it after 6 months of nromal washings;)
If scratches or swirls are deep or deeper than you think, the SSR2 will beak down way to fast to be effective, even with a more aggressive pad, which might cause some marring on its own.

Don't get me wrong, I am still going to keep the SSR2 :). I was just checking to see if it could be used 3 times, where 2.5 might work with one pass. I will need more more S&W soon, so it looks like I'll add 2.5 to the order as well (plus some S&R, etc.). I still have some Vinylex and 303 I am trying to use up so I can order NL!! I just don't have a lot of shelf space in my townhouse garage, so I try to keep products to those that I need. thanks for the quick feedback.

I think if you used SSR2 enough it would work for you, the question would be how many passes would it take? You have to put a price on your time spent.
