SSR2.5 with polishing pad?

I have a rotary buffer and I was wondering if PoorBoy's SSR2.5 swirl remover will work good with a Polishing Foam Pad ( the white ones ). Or if it would actually need a cutting pad ( orange foam pad ). Please let me know.

It works just fine with a polishing pad. The decision should be based on how much cutting you need to accomplish.

some really light overspray...and some tiny swirls in my nice black paint with a few dull spots from the use of compound. I hope it works alright...

yes I prefer to use a polishing pad with SSR2.5 first and if there is a need to get deeper intothe finish bump up to a cutting pad and then back to the polishing pad for a brighter, clearer finish:)

From my experience, in your situation, 1200-1400 RPM is all you will need :bigups
