SSR1 and rotary?

Hi y'all I was wondering how long or how much working in is needed for use of SSR1 and a Rotary? I know that some polishes like Adams Revive and SO take only 3-4 slow passes on 12-1500 rpms, as Meguiars takes 3-5 mins per panel and creates a hell of alot of dusting! Wondering if SSR1 dusts and how effecive it is as a final polish. Thanks for the help!

I have SSR1 although I have found that SSR2 works fine as my last swirl remover. I usually run it at 1400RPM depending on surface conditions. I find very little dusting with this product. You should remember to ONLY prime the pad with PRODUCT. If you prime with water, it will change the chemical structure of the polish and will dust much faster. I think you'll be very pleased with the results! I always polish in 2X2 sections. As for how long I work the product in it depends on how much product is already in the pad. I would guess somewhere around 45sec to 1 min under cool conditions. Hope this helps.

I would think Mike summed it up pretty good:) How long you work a product would always depend on what you are trying to achieve.....gloss or repair:dunno

Poorboy, I would want as mcuh gloss as possible. Also what do you do as far as priming Detail spray or SSR1 as my primer? Thanks for the help!

Prime the pad with the SSR1 ...use a finishing pad and work slowly and patiently until you see the shine pop out during your passes..then wipe off any residue
