My back hurts...
I worked the hood on my 91 chevy tonight, here's my process:

NXT wash
clay
wash
SSR2.5 with LC Orange
SSR1 w/ orange pad
SSR1 w/ white pad
NXT w/ gray pad

Before-waterspotted, dull...this has a coat of mother's carnauba.

Washed and clayed reflection:

After the SSR phase-reflection. You can see the flake in this pic:

And finally a nice flake pic, after the NXT which sat for about an hour. I would've let it sit longer but it was getting cold and I didn't want any condensation to form on it. Besides, I was hungry (thanks to the SSRs LOL):

My back hurts, my wrists hurt, my head hurts. Oh yeah, I'm addicted :P I'm putting on another coat of NXT tomorrow (if it doesn't rain) and hopefully it can sit all day.

No full truck shots yet, I only had time to do the hood (been covering a lot of shifts for a coworker  ) but here is a full hood shot, the best one I got on a cloudy day.

ah, the lovely orange peel. I think it's about as clear as it's going to get without wetsanding...I can accept it for the price range of this truck, but {rant}I just don't get Hummer and BMW, 40k+ cars, being sold with orangepeeled paint :realmad: {/rant} Anyway, I'm going to hopefully do a full detail over thanksgiving weekend, then I'll stick some pics in the showcase :)

I hear ya loud and clear on that one. Actually, orangepeel should be a crime punishable by law - period. :gun_banda

Anyway, your work-in-progress is lookin' good.
