SSR 2.5 enough?

I just got in my SSR 2.5 to try out. Did I screw up by not getting SSR 1? I have 3M swirl remover, etc in case I need some finish up, but was hoping the SSR 2.5 would be OK stand alone, but I will order SSR 1 if the experts here recommend it. Thanks!

To date, I've never needed to follow SSR2.5 with a lighter polish. I have used it with a yellow pad and then followed with a green pad, but that's it.

You should be fine without SSR1, but it can't hurt to have a lighter polish, either SSR1 or SSR2. You won't always have swirls that require SSR2.5.

SSR2.5 will do fine by itself most of the time. It usually doesn't leave much if any marring for me. Still SSR1 would be highly recommended. On darker colors, it'll work the paint to an even better finish. Not to mention, it's not always a good idea to use an aggressive treatment like SSR2.5 on minor swirls or marring.

I've never used 3M products, but it might be fine to use in place of SSR1.
