I got round to ordering and recieved a decent amount of swirl removers and polishes to take full advantage of the PC.

I now have SSR's 1,2 and 2.5 and a bottle of Optimum Polish. Reading up on here Optimum is pad dependant when cutting. I want to remove some individual defects on my metallic black car via pc and spot pads later, in aggresive terms mild to most aggressive which order do these 6 go.

SSR 2 with Polishing pad

SSR 2 with Cutting Pad

SSR 2.5 with Polishing pad

SSR 2.5 with Cutting Pad

Optimum Polish with Polishing pad

I also ordered the Wolfgang Polishing Pal for the free spot pads. First off they seem alot thinner than the Sonus SFX spot pads are they ok to use by PC?

If so how do the orange light cut pads rate compared to the Sonus Yellow SFX spot cutting pad? More of less cut?

Cheers

Generally Orange is more agressive than yellow . It is like a step between yellow and green

Yellow > orange > green > blue > white

I dont know about wolfgang pads - only pads I've ever used are edge classic 6" and recently ed2k with adapter . Also I have a set of 4" pads for a drill for those tight areas .

Do you only have two grades of pad ? Polishing & cutting ?

In spot pads I have the full range - Sonus SFX Cutting Pad (Yellow), Polishing Pad (White), Finishing Pads (Blue) and some LC Finishing Pads (Black).

With the Wolfgang Polishing Pal I got free Orange Light Cut I believe pads, plus 2 black finishing pads. They are alot thinner than the SFX ones and wondered what cut the orange pad had compared to the SFX yellow.
