Spyker c8 Laviolette detail

Got More Wax

So, I got a call from a local dealership asking if I had interest in detailing a car. Sorry, I don't do dealer work. Although they had been referred by an existing client, I just don't do dealer work. But, the lady explained that this is the owner of the dealership's personal car. So, if I can charge my normal rate, sure, I'll do it.

So, I head over for a quick detail. The paint on this car is fine. So, this car received a standard 16 hour clean up.

Things kinda shaped up like this...

Wheels-

Tarminator to loosen up the serious schmeg

P21S and some agitation with Ex Detail and SW wheel brush

Sealed up with JS 109

Tires-

Apc and scrub with DIY Cleaning scrub brush

SW Pneu

Wheel wells,arches-

APC/TAW and agiatation w/Fender well brush

Adams undercarriage Spray

Paint-

Presoak w/ P21S Total Auto Wash

Foam w/ TAW and Bodywork Cond Shampoo

Two Bucket Wash w/ P21S Bodywork Cond Shampoo via sea sponge

Dry w/ Uber WW MF Blanket

Spin 600 rpm with 100 ppi Sm Arnold par on Festool (I "Burnish" the paint. Sorry, don't subscribe to the Pepsi Gen "Jewelling" term"

Two layers SW Crystal Rock

So, here we go...

What a SHINE to top off some awesome work.

Looks like something from the movie TRON!! Also a PesiGen event. HEHE.

Good detail! That thing shines now! That has to be one of the strangest little cars I've seen before... different but still pretty neat looking.

I've never even seen anything remotely close to whatever that is.... Seriously what it is? British? Itialian? Looks pretty cool for a space ship LOL.

Jake,

It's a Dutchie. This particular car has a 620 HP Audi 4.2 V8. Only 22 made in '08. All alum. Kinda cool. Unique. Only six in North America!! Interior reminds me of Austin Powers

How did they bump it up 240hp with no forced induction?

Nice work btw :)

I'm not real hip on the engine/perf stuff. I know they had a ECU flash and a few other little bits modified. I think stock, it's kind of a dawg...4.2 from the S8 sedan???
