Spring Clean #80, VM, EX-P & Nattys

It has been a while since I last posted but work has kept me busy and then winter was not so great to do much work on the car. I had done a full detail in November anyway so left it until now to get the car looking it's best.

I had time off last Thursday and in time too so what did I get up to? Well you go out and prepare your ride so that you can show it off on the weekend of course! I am well happy with the results, again, and glad that the winter grime has come off the car.

Exterior Procedure:

Wash

Dry with Waffle Weave Towels from Pakshak

Meguiar's Clay

Meg's #80 Speed Glaze to remove swirls and provide a nice gloss (these were caused by SC Honda who were told not to wash the car. I managed to get 95% out)

At this stage the car looked awesome and I could have applied either a sealant or wax and be done with it but that would be too easy. ;)

I then applies Clearkote Vanilla Moose (glaze) for a little more depth

Then Poorboy's EX-P sealant to provide durability and protection

Finally a coat of Natty's wax for that extra pop to the colour. As I said before I could have skipped at least two steps but these extra steps do provide more depth and wetter look.

Then the interior:

Clean Vinyl and dress the rubber bits with NXT Tech Protect

Clean Leather with Zaino Leather Cleaner

Leather Cream Zaino Leather in a Bottle

Vacuum

Glass with Meg's Glass Cleaner using terry cloth towels bought from boots.

Exterior Misc:

Alloys waxed with Meg's #16 wax

Exhaust with Silvo

Tyre walls with Meg's Hot Tire Shine

Time spent = 11 hours

What will be my next task? Well keep it clean every week with Zaino QD or washing. Top up wax every month. Apply EX-P and VM every three months. Clay every 6. Also my GB and diff oil were just changed and tomorrow the car goes in for it's first service. Hope you like the effort because I sure do. :D I also hope that it gives some others some inspiration to do likewise and get posting.

Beautiful car and detail! The paint looks incredibly wet. :up

It sound like you have a good maintenance plan, hopefully the dealer's wash monkeys don't mess it up by washing it again. ;)

At least you have a small car though. Imagine trying to do all that with a full sized SUV!

rahula,

Wet, deep, and amazing! :xyxthumbs It looks like you poured red ink all over your car and then took pics!:bow

Keep up the sweet work!

Cheers,

Incredible no matter how many car's I've seen beautifly detailed, there are just some that still stick out as being amazing, and I have to say that yours is one of them. Absolutely amazing. Beautifully done.
