is this stainless steel cleaner good for chrome?

from reading on their webpage they claim it can be used. I used it and after getting wet a day or so after from light rain showers a white residue appeared on ALL the chrome parts.

Is this normal?:huh :huh

Very odd. I'd contact them about it.

If it were me in this situation I'd remove it by using something like PPG #330 or #440 which is a wax and grease remover used just before painting. This chemical cleaner will remove most anything from the surface and it sounds like you need to remove that stuff! But that's just what I'd do and I'm an ignorant amatuer.
