Sprayco Plant Sprayer Review (for pre-soak application)

Hi all. A few months ago, I found this plant sprayer at Home Depot for $9. I like to pre-spray cars with ONR (or similar) as a pre-soak, and this sprayer makes it easy. I`m very happy with it, especially considering the price.

It has a adjustable BRASS nozzle! A nice touch for the money. Here`s the wide spray pattern...

And the narrow.. it goes really far and is decently powerful after about just 4 pumps. I have used this setting to flush off bird poo. And yes, I`m feeding my plants ONR (crossing fingers, GF will kill me if anything happens to them).

And here`s a great touch, it has a locking trigger where it`ll stay spraying with no effort. Press the top button and the bottom. Maybe they all have this, not sure.

The great part: It will spray, continuously (once pumped up) for 60 seconds. And I`m not pumping it up dangerously tight. I can easily do my whole station wagon with 4 pump sessions. MUCH easier than a trigger sprayer.

NO leaks, no clogs after doing 4 car washes. I`ve used ONR and Spray & Wipe in it.

So yeah, I know PBMG and similar sell similar detailing-oriented sprayers, and I`m sure they are great. I can`t attest to the materials used in this sprayer, or if it will hold up over time. Maybe the detailing sprayers are more powerful. This one works for me.

I bought a red one just like that from lowes for a similar price. love it. I have been meaning to buy a few more

Get the 1-2 gallon pump sprayers and you can do several cars without having the refill.

I have similar sprayers (minus the brass nozzle not sure if I want that around car even though it will be more durable its also a lot harder) and I love them, trigger sprayers are a pain.

hey if it I`m spraying the nozzle close enough to the car to risk hitting it, im doing it all wrong anyways

Update!! Sprayco contacted me quickly. They said they don`t make this any longer, but that K-Mart distributes them. He seemed to imply that K-Mart has so many that they don`t need to make them. Hmmmm, K-Mart. It`s been a while since I`ve treated myself to fluorescent lighting hanging from rope, exposed romex, and 19" TV-VCR combos.

that last part, lol

I`ll hit up lowes after work and buy their stock if they have any just in case I can`t ever find these again

I`d like to give one to my mom, she could use another one

I have a similar one from HD it has a plastic tip. It has to be pumped up a lot for it to work, and again after doing a panel or two. Yours sounds much better.

better get there quick...K-Marts are closing their doors all over the country

I got the "new" ones from HD with the plastic nozzle (black and green trim/plastic), Wal-Mart has a smaller 32oz size. The HD one is 56oz. for $7 . I keep a mixture of RW with 1/2oz. of WW and use as a pre-soak. I use the 32oz. ones with more concentrated RW for clay lube, and the 1 gallon sprayers with plain water to rinse tires and wheels .
