Spray Wax

So, i wend to Kragen today and picked up a bottle of megs spray wax to use in between regular waxes just to keep the shine from them after i wash my car. I got home and i was reading the back of the bottle and it says that it "gently cleans" the paint. This means it has cleaners right? :doh I dont know if the cleaners are strong enough to remove the week old wax already on my car that took me 2 hours to finish? I was just wondering if megs quick wax will remove anything under it or if the cleaners are not that strong. :think:

I think it just acts like a quick detailer. And maybe some type of protection.

Yea, I think it means it will clean off light dirt and such, not that it's a cleaner wax. Your wax should be fine.

i have used it. "clean"? nah, there's nothing in it that "cleans"...that would start another mess.

Some of the cheaper QD's do in fact contain cleaners to remove the waxes or sealants because the QD won't play nice with a lot of the LSP so it just removes it. What exact product did you buy?

You are correct, that product is an in between wax booster. When it says cleans, it does have light cleaners to help the wax bond with the surface but they are very slight. it would compare to a quick detailer with wax and is not intended to remove your protectant.
