Spotty/Streaky Windows

I have 2002 Nissan Maxima that I will be working on this weekend. The guy and his wife asked me to come by to take a look at it before I started working on it this weekend. Well, I noticed that windows have these marks on them and they said it came from a shop that detailed their car last. They tried using Windex to remove them, but no luck. I had some Diamonite glass cleaner in my car and tried using that and no success.

Is there any other cleaner I could try? I mean I was scrubbing these windows and those streaks would not go away. Just want to be prepared when I go there this weekend.

Do the windows have tint film on them? Strange..... You could try some acetone (finger nail polish remover) on the streaks.

The first thing you need to do is find out "What is it"? There is a solvent for almost everything. If there is no tint on the window, you can try a small piece of clay, and see if it will take it off. Could be overspray? You could clean with a razorblade, but be careful. Otherwise, try some glass polish like AutoGlym Glass Polish. Works very nicely, and makes windows crystal clear.

I like to use a razor blade with some ISO alcohol than clean that up with some Zaino AIO to "seal" the window and it comes out crystal clear and perfectly smooth. The AIO has some mild cleaners in it as well so anything left behind the AIO takes care of it.

The windows aren't tinted and the streaks are on the inside of the window. It's a nice looking car and the tan leather interior with crystal clear windows really makes the car stand out.
