Spotless rinse system

I have a nice tax refund coming back and I'm looking at getting a spotless rinse system. Just curious who has the best prices on one and your opinions.

I get my DI water tanks from a local distributor. I pay about $10.00 a month to rent them both and get a charged whenever I need to regenerate the material (actually they just swap out the tanks).

The are bigger than those CR Spotless one's (about the size of small SCUBA tanks) but last like forever if your just washing your own cars.

Every town should have some place that supplies DI water as it's used in Manufacturing and Hospitals. Check the yellow pages.

I took advantage of that Costco deal about a month ago, and I couldn't be happier. Here in Colorado the air is so dry that water evaporates on the car in literally seconds, and our water is high in mineral content so there is always a battle with water spots. The CR Spotless won the battle, hands down. I can let the car dry by itself and there is not a single spot anywhere to be found, even on flat black trim. Best $370 I ever spent.

Has anyone checked out the Griots DI System:

Griots DI System

Or a cheaper system:

Autogeek Rinse System

I am seriously considering the CR Spotless system as well but thought it would be wise to check out the alternatives as well...maybe I should just be borrowing Labster's new system since he isn't all that far from me.

Under water purification systems?

I think I'm gonna give Autogeeks System a whirl. Maybe I can whip up a portable version of it using a two wheeler and some added hardware.

If you are looking for a spotless rinse, the AG system won't work for you. I tried it out and was not impressed.

I've spent more time researching spot free/deionized water system than I'd like to admit. Hundreds of hours spent reading, and hundreds of dollars spent on various filters, cartidges, housings, resins, etc.

Ya gotta trust me on this one.... there is *no system available anywhere* that can beat the CRSpotless DIC-20, and you will *not* find a better price on it than costco.com.

It is by far the best money I have spent on detailing stuff yet.

Well, that works for me, thanks SuperBee.

Labster, I am going to buy the CRSpotless DIC-20, I will probably not need the portable part of it, if you are interested in that, let me know.
