Spent the Day at Jimmy Buffit's

I spent Saturday at Jimmy Buffit's shop, Jim invited me to spend some time there and I jumped on it, it was a learning expierence he even let me work on a "BLACK PORSCHE"

with the port-cable, and his help are also very nice, it was helpful to see how his shop was set up. I hope to start up a shop in the next year or so. I met Jim at a Meguiars NXT seminar

So a "BIG Thanks to Jim" Every opertunity I get to learn more about Detaling will get me closer to my goal :xyxthumbs

Yep, Jim's a nice guy! I stop by every once in a while. He always likes to show me his new *toys* , so I don't know how he ever gets cars done. :D
 
sounds like fun.. anyone around long island with a shop who would let me visit for a day? could be quite a learning experience... i know detailing dynamics is around, but they seem very upscale, and i dont know if they would want someone walkin around the shop..
 
i'm actually going to detailing dynamics on saterday. I am going to get a clear bra on my car, I will talk to matt and see what info he is willing to give.
 
Jim's shop is nice and clean. I stopped by over the summer, but haven't been there since. I feel bad, especially being that I only live a few miles away now. Life is starting to straighten out so maybe I'll have a little time to pop is again soon.
