I know, I know, you guys have already seen Todd's and many other members' amazing reviews and I really can't compare myself to them... but here's mine anyways :)

Just an extra push for people to throw out all that clay and start using this beast of a towel.

Note: I want to point out that I shot the clay towel with the clay lube before the video, and also it helps to have a rinse bucket around you. My old way was to always run into my bathroom sink and rinse it after every panel lol

nice video and review...I have been using the Nanoskin Autoscruber for about 2 months and its great product...so how long did you too do your car?

Thanks :)

I'd say between 15 and 25 minutes. I never timed myself so I'm guessing, but it's way way faster than clay (as you must know using the nanoskin autoscrubber).

I would like to one day compare them, but I'm not going to buy both, so I have no idea how I would do that lol

Ive done that car before...not yours but a clients and I did it with a clay before and it took me about a hour compared to 15 mins or so on similar sized cars.

You would think it being a coupe that there isn't that much paint, but that couldn't be further from the truth. When I first started using clay, it took me 2 hours :(

I will admit to being a little skeptical at times about new "tech" as far as detailing goes; because the flavor of the month products come and gone so quickly. I have one of the Ultima Elastrofoam Paint Cleaning block which is the same principle that the towel and pad are based on. It does work well but not in all circumstances.

I personally think clay bar will always have its place. Like for those hard to reach areas and tight areas you can't get your machine into. No the towel will help but I still think clay will be an easier and better solution in come circumstances.

I can totally see this towel being frustrating to use in those super small crevices. All the same, I could see clay being super frustrating in those areas too, just less so. I could see the problem being even more exacerbated when using the nanoscrub, since it would be almost impossible to fit a DA in there.

It might be a good idea to have a clay bar or two around, but if anyone gets the towel, they will quickly see how much they would rather use this over the clay :)
