Souveran vs Natty's Blue on BLACK

Looking for some opinions. I have used Natty's Blue with some nice results. I was thinking about trying some Souveran next. P21S opinions are welcome as well. Discuss. :)

Eddie, you just opened a real big can of worms. There are so many factors that play into it (personal preference makes up a large portion of this). I'll break things down by my experiences and then let the rest of the community chime in.

NB: Great bang for your buck. Very wet. I use it throughout the winter as a sacrificial layer so to say since I don't mind doing an ONR wash and wax every few weeks.

P21S: Easy on/off and looks great on most finishes. I say most because I feel that is gives a silvery look to black paint when viewed from an oblique angle.

PS: Looks amazing on any straight color (black, red, yellow, blue etc.). It will tend to mute metallic colors. Application is as easy as pie.

In the end, you really cannot go wrong with any of these products. I guess that is my justification as to why I have them all (among many others). If you are into nubas then you might want to give them all a go at some point as well. However, they all lack substantial durability. I don't consider this a real issue since I'm unable to leave my paint alone for any significant amount of time. Just my 2 pennies.

Natty's blue gives an insane wet look on black paint.

Souveran gives more of a deep black glow to the paint.

Have both, and agree with above. NB seems a tad wetter, Souveran seems a tad deeper on black. Can't go wrong with either, CG 5050 is another awesome wax. Even with having much more costly waxes, I'm still always impressed by Nattys Blue especially for what it cost. Though I've been using AW only pretty much now b/c of ease of use and excellent look as well, don't have much time right now.

I want to mix my CG5050/NB/Souveran together

:D

Natty's is harder/clearer/wetter reflections...

Souveran is warmer/deeper/more "glowing"...more like a liquid pool of color instead of being bright and intense.

I prefer the look of Souveran; but the bargain of NB is hard to beat.

Autogeek has BOGO on Souveran right now which makes it a lot nicer deal.

simply p21s wettest looking with high gloss.

souveran wettest looking with darker warmer sharper gloss.

I think when your looking for a high quality look on black Souveran answers many of the questions better then Nattys Blue. ITs deeper, wetter and gives sharper reflections.

How about this (since I have a black car) with EITHER wax and the car preped corectly you wont be disappointed. I use both and when im done I always smile

SCG sent me that wax and I really liked it alot but IMHO its not in the same league of PS and NB but like I said its a great wax

Only ever used S100 which is supposedly the same as P21 and think its OK. Tends to streak if the panels are not ice cold, and gave an ok look. I dont have much expereince with Nubas, just my .02.

Are you talking about P21S? P21S sure doesn't streak on warm panels and most think that it give a lot more than and OK look. Get yourself some actual P21S and try it. Then give your .02 again.

Why in the heck would I want to buy the same product, and pay twice as much?
