sources for microfiber towels

Yes, yes, I know we have discussed this topic a gazillion times. But I'd like to have one place where we post our resources for high-quality MFs, and I'm not finding that such a list exists elsewhere here on Autopia. If this thread stays focused and informative, I'll make it a "sticky" in the Detailing Products Discussion forum.

The question: Where can one buy high-quality microfibers that are above the quality of those available locally (e.g., from Walmart, Autozone, PepBoys, etc.)? I'll start with a few of my favorites, and hope others will add the ones I may have overlooked.

Autofiber.com

AutoGeek

Autopia

CMA

DFTowels

Excel Detail

JT International (email)

Microfiber Tech

PakShak

Poorboy's World

Premium Auto Care

Please add other sources and URLs for your favorite microfibers that I may have overlooked in this list.

I love the towels I have from JT International, Tom Gong.. Don't think if he has a website, but I ordered them by emailing him at jtintern at hotmail.com and getting a price list from him. This was a year or two ago...

Pretty sure his ebay username is ultramicrofiber.

Actually this is just a vote for JT International .. I have used 2 of Toms Towels for close to a year .. averaging 4 washs a week in the season and no sign of wear .. I ordered 2 more .. can't beat 24 x 24 for $4 .. Second is Pakshak WW.\

Also Lynn I noticed you said "Other than local " you know .. I'm still finding the yellow ones we get at the Costco in Spokane very hard to beat for plushness etc and I use them for product removal .. Try as I might I can't get them to mar the black paint and at 12 / $9 .. can't beat them .. some have been washed 5 + times and still plush as ever.

Maybe Spokane gets different one than the rest but it deserves mention

I've got the gray waffle-weaves for drying wheels, door jams and the engine bay. Cheap prices and good quality if you are looking to stock up on general purpose towels.

Note: they offer a couple of sample packs but then most of the towels are sold in bulk of 10's or 20's. I got 10 16X27 waffle-weaves for $37.50

We have ordered 3000 mf units from China, but they won't be here for about 30 more days or so. We have ordered:

WW Drying Towels (blue and large)

16x16 plush towels

MF Mitts with elastic wrist bands

We had Gary Kouba check out the plush and his comments were supportive.

We will let you all know when they arrive as the initial first week's prices are going to be extremely attractive...there simply is not enough room to house that many and we have already taken orders towards the 400 mark for the plush towels, but will notify everyone at Autopia when they arrive with the special pricing for the first week only and then it's retail time. :)

Jesstzn- I just picked up another 12 pack from Sams Club(which is the other type of Costco) and they are just as plush as the ones I bought before. They are very plush and haven't marred any paint here either.

Just as you said, $9 for 12 is awesome.
