Hi guys. Hope everyone had a great summer (and for those who have "summer" all year - screw you

:dnaughty ) A few of you had asked for pics of the car - sorry for the delay!!
Unfortunately, where I live, almost half of the year is dismal (unless your idea of a good time is freezing your butt off in temperatures as low as minus 40....:wacko
, so the car gets put away for a few months every year. Every year, around this time, I do an oil change (there are SEVEN drain plugs on this engine, I kid you not :wacko: ), followed by a thorough detail, inflate the tires to 50 psi, top off the tank and run it with fuel stabilizer for ten minutes...... and then shed a tear, hahaha.
I finally got around to doing my pre-winter prep work on my car a couple weeks ago. I hardly got a chance to drive it this year - maybe 2500 miles (which, I suppose, for a lot of Lambo owners, is a LOT..... I bought this car to drive, not to stare at!!!
)
Apologies - no before pictures, because the paint was already pretty good - just needed a few spot touch ups with Menzerna SIP, and overall, SF4500 with a Flex 3401/PE8, and finally, I took the plunge, and applied CQuartz UK Edition (which was a breeze - THANKS to those that encouraged me to do it myself :bigups )
Like I have said before, Nero Noctis is crazy, crazy soft, and SO easily marred. I took great care to get it perfect, and used a bazillion suede cloths for the coating application. Better safe than sorry. I only used about 15mL of the CQuartz, but this was mostly because from the A pillar forward (and on a few other areas), there is full coverage with XPel Ultimate clear bra protection, upon which I applied this ceramic coating called ProSkin that my clear bra installer recommended (I have a sneaking suspicion this is simply CQuartz, rebranded, as ALL of the packaging is identical, as are the applicators, and the cloths! It even smells and flashes identically)
Sorry, I wax lyrical. The pics:

Once again, THANK YOU, guys. The knowledge, willingness to help, and humour here is nothing short of fantastic. I still aspire to the abilities evident with every visit to the site, but I guess that's what it's about - everyone striving for perfection.
Have a great weekend, everyone, and again, thanks!!!!
