All About The Bling Bling
But i had to. :excited: I just bought a 6x12 trailer. My first enclosed, after looking at TBtexas's :bow Trailer thread and how organized and professional his trailer looks i had to get one. I've been working out of a 5x8 open for about 3+ years but i think its time to upgrade.

Going to pick it up in the morning, heres a pic from the ad.

And it matches my truck.

That is all.

That is a great looking trailer! It looks pretty big and I really like the side entry. Looks like a good find to me.

Nice looking rig!
Is the rear access a ramp or swing doors?
It almost looks like a fold down ramp style, but it also looks like hinges or latches at the sides.

Congratulations on the new edition to your business. It will look great behind that vehicle of yours. Cannot wait for updated pictures!!

Crangrats, and yes, pictures are a must when you start your building process.
And thanks for the compliments!!!!!!

Looks like you will be able to pack that bad boy up nicely.
Think you will have any difficulties getting in and out of places?

Congrats!!!!

I'm in the same boat as you....a Silverado with an open utility. Now, I just need to upgrade to a 5x8 or 6x10/12 trailer.

Congrats..it certainly will enhance the biz.. now you just need to have it lettered up:bigups

Nice looking trailer TD.
Can't wait to see how you are going to set yourself up in there

Please take pics along the way.

Thanks for the comments all, I picked it up this morning but did not have a chance to snap any pics. Was to busy this afternoon working on a full detail. So far the plan is to figure out how i'm going to lay it out, and what i'm going to put on the outside. I've got to go to home depot tomorrow and look at materials for shelfs and for some bottle racks.

I'll get some pics tomorrow of it behind my truck.

:D This struck me as funny, weren't you (True) going to be a tattoo artist?

yep i was. Still will be. RIght now i had to put it on hold as my friend/teacher had to go up north for personal reasons. So i'm back to detailing full time for now.

Besides this hold up, things are going good. I'm about to order my own set of guns, a power supply, ink and other supplies so i can start doing more work.

I don't think i will, i'm preety good when it come to driving trailers. This is my first enclosed though so it'll take some time to adjust not being able to see out my back window.

Nice.
When I had my 4x8, I could not see it out the side mirrors or rear view. Not even te top of the tank. Only time I sen it was when I was turning or when backing and it was going crooked....lol

It is so much easier with an enclosed IMHO....

Thought i'd give a small update, sorry no pics as my camera decided to crap out on me.

So far i've tiled the floor with some armstrong industrial rubber style tile, Black and white checkered. I've ordered a few sheets of 1/8th inch pvc to cover the walls and cieling. Been working on a design for my exterior decals. Going to be a driving billboard, lol.

Gettin one of these bottle racks for the side door from a local guy thats selling them on ebay. Its costing me 250, but he builds them himself and considering theres at least 6-8 hours of labor in them plus the cost of the steel, Its a fair price.

I also have my uncle who is a carpenter, building some nice shelfs in the v-nose for all my gallon jugs and smaller bottles. Also a shelf for my 5 gallon jugs on one of the walls. Yes i could do this myself, but i'm a detailer not a woodworker. I know if he does it, the trailer will fall apart before the shelfs do, lol.

Thats about it for now, i'm still trying to figure out where i want to put my tank and other equipment. I figure in about 2 weeks i'll have everything switched over and be working out of it.

:rofl I'm lucky i came across one of his auctions or i never would have found it. This is the ultimate rack for a detailer.

His name on ebay is "autodetailingsupplies" Go to Welcome to On Location Auto Detailing and check out his van. I think i'm still drooling a bit just from looking at it.

He makes them in a few different sizes, You'll have to email him about them cause i don't see any in his ebay store. You'll also have to chew him down on the price, i did. At first he wanted like 270 i think it was, plus shipping. I got him down to 235 plus shipping which is 16 bucks. I could of gone and picked it up but 16 bucks is well worth 2 hours of driving time to me.

*edit*

Huh thats weird. I typed in www . onlocationdetailing . com and that link is there instead.

Wow, that is an INSANE set-up. I wish I would have seen that before building up my trailer....then again, I woulda spent a ton of $$$$$$$$$$ doing it....
