SONUS ALL-IN-1

Sonus All-In-1 was the first product I tested. The instructions were straight forward and mixing the concentrate in the 16 oz. spray bottle that came with the concentrate was a snap. It is orderless, non-flammable, non-fuming and just like the label says its easy to rinse.

I wanted to try this on several surfaces and started with a strong 20:1 to spray in wheel wells and on some under the engine oil films. The results were OK to good and my first though was it reminded me of 303 cleaner. It wasn't until I started using it inside the truck at a more diluted mix that I really started to appreciate this cleaner. It was very effective on every surface I used it on. I liked the way I could spray it on everything and after letting it sit a few minutes it wiped clean easily with a damp towel. Painted areas, rubber molding, no worry about the fabric, and so on. It made cleaning everywhere at once very easy. It got smoke film off a headliner with very little effort. Ok. At this point it was just a "pretty good" cleaner and I was still trying to decide how much I really liked it or not.

What really got my attention was when I used it on some dark scuff marks on a door panel and on the lower plastic part of the driver's seat on an Accord. I have tried other cleaners like Woolite, 303, and so on, but the "greyish scuff" in the plastic just wouldn't come off. ALL-IN-1 finally got these scuff stains off or maybe it was OUT of the plastic. That alone convinced me to put this at the top of my list for interior cleaning products until proven unworthy to be there. A solid product, does what it says and to be fair I would say a solid 4 Star product maybe better but I'm still getting to know this product.

SONUS TOTAL ECLIPSE.

I'll keep this short. This stuff is FANTASTIC. 5 Stars and lets just say it left the dash in an 04 Accord looking PERFECT. I have no doubt this is my favorite interior protectant with just one use. That is all I need to say. Period. I love it. You will too.

OK. Maybe I should try and explain why, but it's how it looks that counts and that's not easy to explain....one needs to see this and use it first hand. I like this stuff because I finally get the perfect "look" on the dash I want AND as a bonus everywhere else I used it looks great too. If it will last at least 4-5 weeks I'll be happy. If it doesn't I'll still be happy. It LOOKS that good to me.

I used a MF mit to apply TE and followed instructions. Let it sit 5-10 minutes, buff off the excess. Tried a second coat to see how much gloss I could get with it and it was a fairly tame gloss. I also gave a final damp wipe with a MF to get the satin effect, but it was hard to tell that from just a "spray, set and wipe" look. Just wiping it on, letting it sit a few minutes and wiping it down with a dry MF left a really GREAT looking finish, really clean, really natural; 180 out from a "cheap plastic" look. I like this product a lot. After the dash experimentation I went crazy with it and put it on everything rubber, plastic and vinyl and the tan leather in the car. Very BUENO!!! I absolutely prefer the LOOK of Total Eclipse over 303 and Megs #40, which I have been using lately. I'll use TE on most of an interior and save the other products for whatever I don't want to waste TE on! I'll be buying this again. :xyxthumbs

I agree with MartyGrant 100% on the Total Eclipse, (still haven't had a chance to try the cleaner. TE left the interior of my truck looking new with just a slight gloss. IMO, the perfect look.

Raven,

The interior you show in you review looks almost identical in tones, trim and colors to my 04 Accord. TE looked very good on the light tan areas. Better then anything I have used. (Oh, I just read your review. I agree with you too!) Nice pictures! I was very glad to see you had the same postive reaction to TE as I did and it wasn't my biased imagination. Wonder how long it will be before others post their results?
