I've been looking for a great polish. I've been happy with everything Sonus makes and I've been looking at there SFX series polishes. Has anybody used it yet? Please share your experience. It has three steps (Restore SFX-1, Enhance SFX-2, Final Finish SFX-3). I just got my PC and I have a beat up black '03 Eclipse to do next weekend. I've done good jobs on black but i want to take my job to the next level.
I added up and it would be $75 for all 3 polishes and foam pads. I haven't bought pads yet for my 7424 PC, so I wouldn't mind doing that. I'm not rich so I'm buying a bit at a time.
How's this step for the black eclipse with dirty paint, dull paint, and light swirl marks?
1)Clay the car with Clay Magic Kit
2) Use SFX-1 on PC @ 4 and do 1/4 of the hood for a couple of minutes. Hopefully it will dry by then or just turn up to 6 till dry.
Then, wipe off dry polish with MF.
3) Use SFX-2 same as 1. Hopefully it will remove the light swirls and get it shinning.
4)Use SFX-3 the same as the other 2.
5) Then use a Sonus Blue Foam pad to apply AIO and use a MF bonnet to remove.
6) Use Sonus Grey Foam Pad to apply SG then use a MF bonnet to remove. Or should I use my Concours buffing towel?
7) Grey Foam Pad to apply P21S and remove with MF Bonnet.
Any steps I miss or am I just crazy? I'm not the richest person and I still have to buy foam pads for my PC 7424 and polish.
