Sonus SFX-3 vs Poorboys Professional Polish

I've recently ordered a DA polisher and a Sonus kit (SFX1, 2 & 3). I also have some Poorboys Professional Polish.

My car has light swirls (soft paint previously not machine polished or resprayed - I've had it from new), and I'm looking for the least abrasive way to start to correct them.

I've read that SFX-3 has some light abrasives in it, whilst the Poorboys polish is apparently purely chemical in action.

Am I right in thinking that I should use the Poorboys product first in order to see if it makes any difference and then move onto SFX-3 (and SFX-2 if needed)?

I'm also unsure as to whether I could safely use the either the SFX-3 or Poorboys polish on a relatively regular basis (i.e. every three months) without causing harm to the clearcoat?

sfx 3 doesn't have abbrasives in it. I believe it is a pure polish only for gloss. IF it does of abbrasives, nothing that will do any kind of correction.

I would go with the sfx 2 and the white pad. That is a great combination. I used to use it all of the time.

sfx 3 is for jeweling only.

You could use sfx 2 every month for 3 years and probably not ever have a problem

You have your letters mixed up. Poorboy's World SSR 3 is a Heavy Duty Compound

I wasn't talking about SSR3 just Sonus SFX-3 and Poorboys pro polish.

Thanks for the responses btw guys. :)
