Sonus Products

Whats up everyone! I am a noob to detailing. I just got my PC and I ordered some SONUS pads with the backing plate and then I got the SONUS 3 step polishes 1-3.

Are these good products, I think they are pretty decent from what I have read. I know a lot of people on here use zaino, poorboys and Klasse. Basically just wanted to see what everyone thought of SONUS. I am going to be practicing on my old 86 mazda pickup once everything comes in. I know everyone has a preference to what products they use but really just want a generally idea on how good SONUS is. Yeah I know if I was smart I would have asked before I ordered everything!

Congrats, you have one of the best brands of car care products on the planet

Sure it's just my opinion but sonus is brilliant

SFX polishes give an amazing clearcoat clarity and are awesome on plastic

SFX 3 is real nice but I think clearkote moose afterwards or instead, gives a better finish

I have been using sonus DAS pads on my rotary and DA for quite some time with fantastic results

The Sonus quick detailers (acrylic spritz, carnuaba spritz, and detailing spritz) all have great reputations.

I personally have been using the Sonus acrylic spritz (AS) and the Sonus acrylic glanz (AG) (sealant booster spray) in conjunction with the Klasse twins and couldn't be happier with the results. I don't think there is a better QD and/or booster spray out there for use with Klasse than the "Sonus twins".

Sonus is one of my favorite product lines. I have liked every product thus far, and I've just about tried all of them. The leather conditioner, ultra fine clay, Carnauba/Acrylic Spritz, Swirlbuster polish/pad and Acrylic Glanz are staples in my collection. The trim conditioner is another stand out product. I will say that I prefer Meg's IQD over the Sonus offering, but only because I find it a little easier to work with. I think the Sonus version offers a little more protection. I'll be trying Total Eclipse and Trim/Motor Kote later this week.

There are other products I'd love to see under the Sonus label. A waterless wash (a la Poorboy's S&W) comes to mind. It may sound kinda weird, but I "trust" the Sonus products, much like I trust Zaino products.

A lot of care is put into the sonus line, DavidB said it best when he said something like "I only will create products if I can make them better than what is out there"
