Sonus Glanz and Polycharger H2O

Has any one tried PC H2O and Sonus Glanze....are there any special tricks or procedures please?



I am have been told to use 4 droppers of PC to a bottle (16 oz) of Sonus Glanze.



(I tried the search function and could not find anything/sugestions for this combination?)

I checked my Polycharger dosing chart (I can email you the pdf file if you PM me with your email address) and you are correct, 4 droppers per 16 bottle. David B mentions Glanz Polycharger dosing in either one of his Klasse articles or a Polycharger post. If I recall correctly, in one of those, he even advocated using more (?), but I don't know if that was a misprint or in the early days of Polycharger testing.



I've tried application via (1) spraying on the paint / wiping off with a towel as recommended; and (2) spraying on the paint, spreading with damp microfiber applicator, and then buffing off. The results were equivalent in appearance, but the 2nd method wasted less Glanz and saturated the microfibers less, making them easier to clean later.



Results were outstanding! I especially like the appearance from alternating layers of Klasse SG (also Polycharged) with the Sonus Glanz – It seems somehow shinier than just the KSG alone. Perhaps the Glanz offers a more uniform thin coat because it’s diluted more than the KSG.
 
fwiw, Acrylic Jett Trigger is a similar product and Werkstat had nothing positive to say about polycharger with thier product when I asked about it.

Thanks much for the reply, and tip/s - Greatly Appreciated :). The reason why I was confused about the dosing is I did read an article at some point (a year ago maybe or when I first heard of Polycharger) that the main topic was the proper application of Klasse in general. In the Klasse article there was a short sub title/paragraph about Polycharger which I think read that you "may add as much or up to 8 doses to a bottle" (don't remember the exact wording but the number 8 sticks with me). At the rate of 8 doses that small bottle of Polycharger won't last to awlful long. Thanks for clearing it up for me.



Also the tip you provided (#2) on the application of the PC by spraying and then spreading with a applicator makes tons of sense ,and will save a lot of material - thanks a lot,

Geeeze, can't hardly believe it, but I was looking for how to subscribe to a thread on this thread, and at the bottom of this thread there are 3 "similar threads" one of which (Klasse Users Guide) is probably the article I spoke about above (where "up to 8 oz" of product may be used). So I guess the amount of PC used in a 16 oz bottle of the Sonus Glanz is a personal preference type of thing. Don't know why I couldn't find that article in the search function??? I also never did find out how to subscribe to this thread, but found the three interesting articles :).

I purchased the Polycharger as part of a Sonus kit with the Klasse AIO, Sealant Glaze, Spritz, and Glanz. My use of the AIO, KSG, and Glanz has therefore been strictly with the Polycharger. I’ve sometimes wondered myself if the Polycharger was merely snake oil…



Regardless, I’ve had absolutely NONE of the difficulties people often complain about with regards to application and removal of KSG. I’ve wondered if this is somehow related to the use of the Polycharger…



Further, I only wait 8 hours between layers of KSG, as David B recommended based on the claimed “cross-linking” benefits of the Polycharger. Again, absolutely no problems with only waiting 1/3rd of the typical time.



Maybe it’s due to the Polycharger, or maybe I’m just lucky.
