Sonus clay vs Meguiars professional

Who has tried both these products, and can tell me which one they prefer. I was going to get some Meguiars Mild pro clay because I thought it would be the cheapest solution, but then I saw the Sonus for about $10 less for the same amount!



Quality? Reviews?
 
No one?



I think I am going to ask the Meguiar's board, though I know it will be biased, so at least I see if ANYONE at least has some remote experience with the two.



I will probably be placing my order in a few days for the Sonus clay...just can't pass up on a deal that good!



I do have one more question though, ontop of my previous one: How would Meguiar's Quick Detailer or Last Touch (diluted 1:1) do with it?
 
I've never used the Meguiars clay but I have used the Sonus green clay. It works well and is very mild which lessens the chances that you will mar the paint.



I'm sure the QD's you mentioned would work fine but I use the Glyde lubricant with my Sonus green clay. The sampler pack that includes both is pretty cheap.
 
Wolf-Strong- Haven't used the Meg's clay, but the Sonus green is *VERY* mild (great for cleaning the wax without stripping it) while the Sonus *gray* is pretty aggressive and will quite possibly mar your paint (not badly though, if you plan to polish anyhow it'll probably be OK).



I too would use the Glyde. I've tried a few other things as lube with the Sonus clays and I honestly think it works the best.
 
I just ended up getting the Meguiars Smooth Surface clay kit. FIgured it wasn't too expensive at all really concidering I get a microfiber in there, quick detailer, and some cleanerwax.



I love this stuff. Won't mar the paint and gets rid of pretty much all of the surface containments. Word of caution though as it won't get rid of heavy overspray like more agressive clay will.
