Sonüs Gloss Shampoo and Convertible Compatability?

I just picked-up the Sonüs Gloss Shampoo. I would like to try it on my convertible this weekend. While I should not use washes with gloss enhancing oils (which I assume the Sonüs has) on the convertible top itself, I will inevitably get some incidental amounts on the top.

Will that cause problems? If it will, Iâ€â„¢ll just use the Sonüs on the other cars. Do you have any recommendations for a non-gloss enhancing shampoo that I can pick-up at Pep Boys or Wal-Mart tomorrow morning?

Also, I have not bought RaggTopp Cleaner or Protectant yet; is there a simple household soap I can use to clean the top safely?

I'd get yourself a fabric-specific shampoo and limit the experimentation...I don't think it would be wise.

I wash our fabric soft top maybe 2X per year and just be certain to rinse well with clean water when she gets her weekly wash. After 3 years the top still appears new.

When I wash I use Porsche's soft top shampoo. Next time around I will try the Raggtop.
