Friends,
I've been playing around with Z-PC a lot lately and I find it behaves quite differently than other polishes due to its makeup. I've really noticed some terrific performance of this polish in removing swirls on black cars.
Here are some tips for getting the best out of it:
1. Use sparingly and no more than a medium cut pad. I do four small dots at the 12 o'clock, 3, 6, and 9 positons along the perimeter of the pad.
2. Start on "4" on the PC and work in for about one minute.
3. Bump up straight to "6".
4. Work into the paint until it starts to dust. This can be a while but I've found it creates a super slick surface. I do one panel at a time and it really does well.
5. Wipe off with a plush microfiber. Follow up with optional Z-6 wipe.
I've also noticed it works on plastic pieces such as wheel well accents, etc. It also works very well with a rotary although I like a less than fully aggressive pad there.
Just wanted to share some thoughts since I feel I have it figured out.
