Great shots!

*I* like to have the sun behind me. I feel that it helps with overall lighting, shadows, etc.

Beautiful photos. Time to take the ES to the beach!

I might suggest some sundown shots would bring out the white more.

I agree, sun should be low in sky and behind you for the best shots. I also like to get low when photographing autos.

Nice car, love boosted Buicks!!

My advice, you should never be able to see the tire tread, always turn the front wheels away from the camera, photo 2 is the picture I'm talking about.

I think the first picture is your best. Are those wheels clean? I think I can see some residual dust. ;)

What state are you in? It looks cold.

Well I havent cleaned the car in a week, been too cold! It went through one snow shower, but it still shines and feels great. Last treatment a week ago was Klasse AIO and SG with a claybar before hand. The wheels collect a ton of dust, cant help that. Just wanted some quick pictures :D

Nice car!

Nice pics...I can't wait for the snow and frigid temps to go away so I can get some work done on my car. Some quick tips on photographing cars that I have picked up/figured out: Try not to take pics of the shaded side of the car/into the sun. If you do, use the flash (some say you should always use the flash, even when it is bright outside). The falsh won't completely light up the shaded side of the car, but it might help throw a little more light. I also tend to keep the tires straight or turned away from the camera in most cases. Another tip that I learned is to get low when taking pictures of a car. squat down or get on a knee so you are at more of a the level of the car. Taking pictures down towards a car doesn't yield great photos most of the time (unless you are specifically trying to catch a certain portion (reflection off a hood, etc.). If you want to catch some good reflections, getting on a knee right at the front fender of the side of the car with the sun and aiming down the side of the car will bring out the reflection quite well, though limiting the amount of car actually in the picture. Having the sun low and coming from behind you will help as well.

I am no expert on photography and have made many of the mistakes (and continue to) I have tried to help you with above. Just some things to think about.

:D

I actually should have taken my time, I guess I rushed and parked the car however because people were behind me, I wanted no one else in the picture, I felt people were looking at me for taking pictures of my CAR when IM at the beach, etc. Expect better ones next time :D

Ive been using Klasse AIO and SG, someone want to recommend me a good topper for white? :D

nice pictures. everyone has given good advice about taking pictures. i like the 6th one.

but that's a beach? where's the sand? ;) i guess not all beaches are like the ones here in hawaii. :D
