And I thought there weren't many M cars on the boards...

Nice job on the estoril. It's good to see some guys representing the e36. I should have pics of my cosmos black '95 pretty soon.

It's AMP99! Haven't seen you in a while. Figures you'd chime in regarding the Bimmer! ;)

Nice job FC :xyxthumbs What process did you use? I like the racing pic in the gallery.

Just to add to the collection of M cars. I, unfortunately had to take the pictures in the garage because it is pouring rain here today....and I have to take the car out in it in an hour:(

thnx fopr the :up guys

it's nice to get all u bimmers to surface here

a little back ground info on the car: it's a 98 M3 with just over 120,000km that serves as daily commuter, heavy duty pick-up, , winter beater and track machine :D well, i had been waiting so long for a perfect weekend and i got one last sunday. here's a quick list of what i did and what i used...

2 wash... (it was real dirty)

clay w/ 'autopia' clay

1 more wash to make sure everything's cleaned

'3m finesse-it 2' with PC

'einszett paint polish (green container)' w/ both PC and hand application - i wanted to try both methods since i got the polish recently

'p21s paint lotion and polish' w/ hand appliation - i didn't use this on the whole car but selected areas just to see if it does anything at all since the gloss and shine from the 'einszett polish' alone was already very nice.

'klasse sealant' 1 application - simple and straight forward.

'pinnacle souveran wax', 3 coats - pic was taken after only 1 coat. the additional coats, applied the same night and the next morning layered up nicely on top of klasse sealant and gave the final finish a real deep and saturated(?) look.

'a303' on many of the plastic and rubber trims

'eagle1 tire spray' on the 4 rubbers

the headlights were polished out with 'meguairs's 2 step plastic clean+polish system' about 1 week prior to that

i am pretty satisfied with all the products i used, except that 3m fi-2 required a lot more work to polish out the swirls. also, prob because i had been workign 5-6 hrs on my car so i couldn't notice any enhancement with the last application of p21 polish.

:up :up for the einszett paitn polish though.
