Got a few new items from Steve at Tropi-Care to test out. Looks like he's been busy this summer.
First, he sent me a seamless mf towel. Very soft and seems to be good quality. I've used all of Steve's MF products and while they are all good, I think this is the best one of the bunch.
Next up is one of Tropicare's new clay bars. Steve has dropped the Clay Magic kit and started carrying his own clay bar. It doesn't come with any lubricant however. I used one on a car I was working on this weekend and it's a good bar. I'd rank it up there with Mothers and Clay Magic. I've never used the Meguiars so I can't really relate it back to that one.
Finally, a yellow version of his polish. This formula seems to be about the same as the pink but it's somewhat thinner. I think this was done because of people having trouble putting it on by hand with dry applicators, etc and it caking up. I personally have always applied it by PC so I never noticed there being spreading problems but Ive seen some others here talk about it. This version of the polish has a pina coloda-ish smell to it so hopefully those people that didnt like the cherry will like this version better.
I dont know if the yellow is going to replace the pink or if it's even going to be widely available. I didn't really ask Steve that. I'll try to get some clarification on it this week if I speak to him. Hopefully he will change it over as I find the color/smell a little more appealing than the pink (Although thats pretty petty to begin with)
Steve also mentioned he has some other products in the works as well. Hopefully I can get him to elaborate so I can pass the word on.
