The Alpha looks great and so does the Audi. The Alpha must've been in bad shape to need the Diamond cut. Do you have any before pics? :)

I like to use Diamond Cut with a polishing pad as It has to bite to remove most imperfections while the softness of the pad combined with the deminishing abrasives in DC make swirl removal much easier.

I have a few close up before shot, the lighting was dark after I had finishind so an after shot would of been too different.

Mizzuri,

That is a super before and after on the Alfa! :bow :bow

Black, as messed up as that Alfa, can be a bear to return to a glossy shine.

Again, great work on both cars! :xyxthumbs

Keep it up!

Cheers,

Nice work! :xyxthumbs

But, why go from DACP and a rotary, to DACP and a PC??

Why not go from the rotary and DACP to a PC with Swirl Free Polish or something to that effect?

I'm curious about your logic.

Don't get me wrong, it doesn't take away from the awesome results you achieved especially on black!

Spilchy,

Thanks for the comments. The reason for the DACP w/ PC is to totaly remove 1, any maring from the DACp with Rotary and 2, Any buffer marks left by the rotary that may of been hidden to the eye by the polish in DACP. I wanted to make sure that the finish was perfect.

I use this technique with most cars both Clear coat and single stage paints. I would rather spend the extra time "just in case" than to have a client complain or get a bad review from one.
