Some Meguire 205 observations....

I've recently tried Meg's 205 and am really impressed! That's with a polisher. I've done a couple of small spots by hand though, and the stuff dries like concrete. Anyone else find that? And how can you counter that?

I have found that if you use less it is easy to get off. Also use a buffer of some sort so it actually comes off a lot easier

Chazman- I always buff products like that off *before* they dry. Actually, I'm a little surprised that it's drying like that, what with all the oils in it

Yeah, like within a minute or so. But TedFred's point is well taken. It's probably going on alot thicker by hand than by machine.

Gee, I wouldn't have thought *that* either! I generally find it a whole lot easier to avoid the excess product thing by hand (and I've been using polishers since forever). Eh, different people have different experiences all right!

I like M205. If it is drying on you when applying by hand, I suggest that you shrink your workspace, say 12"x12", and make sure you buff it off before it dries.

The nice thing is that a little heat (sun is always a good source), the oils will quickly evaporate and give you the true condition of the paint.
