Well i have been on the board for a few months and learned A TON! and also have a TON of products and tools at my hands. THe following questions i have are in general and questions I could not find searching for specifically:
1. Why is it that cars condensate water on the roof and trunk lid more than the hood? THat goes the same about beading...it seems the beads on the roof and trunk lid seem to get a lot bigger over time than the hood does. what gives??
2. I currently use Zaino Z2 and Z5 on my car. Since Z2 and Z5 can be used in conjunction with each other, I was wondering if I could mix a batch of Z2 and Z5 half and half and (using ZFX) apply that batch to the car that way? Would there be any benefits?? since the Z5 "hides minor swirls" and Z2 has supposedly the higher optical qualities??
3. After applying coats of Zaino or any wax of that matter without any streaking, it seems that my car shows a lot of streaking swirls and "somewhat hologram effects" after washing...that streaking swirls and holograms dissappear if i buff them out with a MF and QD. What could be causing the after washing streaking and hologram effects taking into account that i rinse and dry the vehichle THROUGHLY? I make sure the wash mitt i use is really clean before use. (I use the Zaino carwash, is it maybe i just use too much concentrate, even though i follow the instructions to the word?)
4. This is a general opinion question: Which will yield better gloss, shine, reflectivity, clarity, and protection between Natty's Paste wax and S100? I would reapply each about every 3-4 weeks, so durablitly is not a big part of this poll. More so the initial appearance of each wax...My car is a somewhat dark pearl blue btw. Any other Carnuaba wax suggestions are welcomed as long as the wax can be purchased under 30 bucks a can.
5. For Zaino users. When applying Z2 or Z5 w ZFX, how the heck are you all using so little and spreading it evenly?? I tried the hand applicator provided and even the PC with gray pad...it just doesnt seem like i can spread it evenly without having to keep using more...they say a nickel size for a hood, i just dont see that happening. So my questions is when applying the Z with my PC, about how much Z should i SPREAD onto the 6 inch gray pad for a hood (01 Acura CL hood)???
