I did one better!

I asked them why they seem to enjoy my music better then their own and would they let "their children" listen to their music like I let them listen to mine......Their answer was no....HA! :bigups

Wonder why it's still popular, don't really get it. That was almost 10 minutes long and there no cussing, no shooting cops, nobody stole anybodies sh!t, didn't sell any dope, no bling on my 5.0 kinda sucked actually, I feel cheated so i think i'm going to sue David gilmore!:rofl What was that number 1-800- deprived:wall

One of my favorite things to do is to listen to The Wall (the album) and then follow it up with The Final Cut. The story continues and it's a great way to spend a couple of hours listening.

Sue Roger Waters too, he wrote The Wall :D

I have had a copy of Pulse since it was released on video and there is not a week that goes by where I don't watch this video. This version of comfortably numb is so great I just can't get sick of it.
This version from 2011 is also great and very cool.

Saw them in concert in Ohio around 1977. It was a blast!

I saw then in concert in 1975 at Ivor Wynne Stadium in Hamilton. To this day I have seen many concerts, but I still think this was my far the best. Wish You Were Here had just been release and the concert included all of that Album, all of Dark Side and a few other oldies. Last year one Sunday I felt nostalgic and decided to search on the web to see if a recording existed of that concert. What a surprise I got. The bootleg version of that concert is regarded as one of the best bootleg recording of Pink Floyd to exist. I got my hands on a untouched digital copy of the concert and yes the quality is excellent. It truly gives you the feeling of reliving the moment. It was recorded with a Sony TCD-D8 Recorder.

Their Live 8 Performance was magical as well. It is nice to see them play, forget their differences and let their art flow.

That said, Gilmour or Waters?

I guess that is like asking McCartney or Lennon.

Gilmour and McCartney btw

Gilmour all the way, between the voice and the guitar he made Pink Floyd. I also like is first solo release self titled David Gilmour released in 1978. That album was as good as anything Floyd had released until then. I did see Rogers Waters solo when he released The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking. He did one set of Floyd and one set for his album. The cool part of that concert was that he had Eric Clapton for guitar on the tour.

This thread got me humming tunes from the Wall earlier today. I actually introduced my son to the wonderful world of David Gilmour's amazing guitar solo (1 of the top 10 IMO) while jamming out to Comfortably Numb earlier today.
