Sold my 360, ready to order supplies lol

Alright well i sold my xbox 360 and worked some over time last weekend and possibly this weekend as well so i've got some extra money to spend on some SUPPLIES (yes ABP its been more then a month but im finally ready to go)



Here is what i was thinking so far...i know about the discount code to so ill be using that

Optimum Polish is a swirl remover, finishing polish & paint cleaner in one for the optimum shine! swirl remover polish, fine grade polish, final 17$



Anyone have any ideas on what microfiber towels i should get and another polish maybe to get rid of holograms (in case i ever get some).



I can finally get started with my own car, i've got 2 cars lined up as well an 01 Audi 1.8T and a 99 Chevy Malibu (dear lord thats gonna be fun)



Im a newb so excuse the questions...



I've also gotten a bunch of holograms on my car using my newly acquired makita, could be from inexperience (used the dewalt on our tow truck for 2days) or could be the dirty old pad im using (most likely the cause)



I just wanna know a bit of technique for the dewalt and how to get rid of holograms using the makita as i have no PC handy and wouldnt wanna spend 130$ more if it can be done quicker and better with the makita
 
haha oh man if i had a 360 id be paying some of the people here with amazing talent to be detailing my car lol
 
OHC would probably help you in the future if you can't tackle some of the things. Do you have a polishing pad and finishing pad? i'd recommend you buy one of each just incase OP / Polishing pad is still leaving halograms. You might have to use the black finishing pad instead. *these are based on LC pads.
 
well in the first post i posted an lc kit that has one of each pad, 2 mf towels, and some cleaner for the pads. i will be getting that and actually ordering each bottle of Optimum.

Did you sell it just for money for detailing supplies, or because of the upcoming Elite version? I only ask because the 360 is a great piece of hardware, and with Mass Effect coming this year it's something to hold on to.
 
well i sold it for some detailing supplies, i figured last time i played was at least a month ago so i figured what the hell if i can make some money detailing might as well sell it cuz the 360 aint gonna make me any money lol



I ordered the LC pads 7.5in with 6in backing all colors except green and OC/OP/PS



Maybe ill pick up the xmt intermediate or heavy swirl remover
