I joined a Tool of the Month Club years ago. It sounds like your experience is very similar to my own. The advertisment showed real tools like battery powered drills, name brand of course, nice lawn sprinklers, screwdriver sets, again name brand. I paid for a 3 month trial and was to receive what was supposed to be tools you shouldn`t be without and received tools like a plastic drill bit size gauge one month, I`ve seen for a buck at hardware stores, a roll of duct tape the next month and a $3 flashlight on the final month. Needless to say I didn`t move forward with the $19.99/month regular club membership. Of course they also had a step up program to get the really professional tools, I smiled while I checked the cancel box. I was highly disappointed.
