I think this is actually my first post! But my move to this board from BimmerForums.com and Meguairs car crazy will hopefully expand my auto detailing business within the Southern Californian auto enthusiast community, which has been so supportive of me over the past few years.
----------
I have been detailing / cleaning cars professionally for about three to four years now, and it has grown a fair amount, namely because of the awesome publicity you all give me and a lot of the local meets in the Southern Californian Community.
I thought that my move down to La Jolla this year to attend school at UCSD was going to hinder me a great deal, limiting my detailing schedule, but it has worked out very well! The Amtrak train from Solana beach to San Juan is only $12
Being a college student with a hefty amount of loans to pay off in these next couple of years, I am really putting an effort to revamp the detailing business that has sort of dwindled in these last months since the beginning of school in September.
I have had a good amount of experience in working with jobs ranging anywhere from simple washes to complex 3-step polishing jobs along with interior shampooing and a great deal of other auto detailing services.
I am working on creating a pricing list for all the services I can think of off the top of my head, I feel that it will make my business feel a little bit more professional in that way; I will post a link or include a post with a pricing schedule for you all as soon as it is done. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact me via PM, email (thejaker@gmail.com), or a post in this thread, for info on what I can do for you and your car!
Lately, I have been working with a lot with the Meguiars professional line and coats products, a local dealer in the southern California area that I have had great success working with. Between the two and of course autogeek.com
, I have built up most of my products that I use today.
A good amount of my work has been posted online on bf.c, but please don't hesitate to email me if you would like some additional info or more photos of my past work!
Right now, home (true home) is in Laguna Niguel, and where all my product is located, and school is in La Jolla (UCSD). I run between both equally, but lately my schedule has been limiting me to detailing mostly on the weekends, but I wouldn't hesitate to work in a special request.
Please spread the word to friends / family / whoever you know! Of course a special discount to all the autopia members! Lately I have been giving a 10% discount to all of the online auto enthusiast community, but I am going to jump it up to a 15% discount to you all and see how that goes!
Best Regards and thanks to all who have continued to support me over the past months!
