Soap and water to clean wheels..

Hey all, I was wondering if soap and water is alright to clean silver painted wheels. I have been using EO A2Z with good success, but my wheels do not get too dirty that often and this stuff almost seems like an overkill because of its strength, even though I dillute it water. Just wondering if soap and water will be ok to clean the wheels. If so, what type of soap are you guys using? Thanks :xyxthumbs

I use car wash soap(gold class). Only time I use an actual wheel cleaner is if they are filthy(long trip/ getting close to winter).

why not try your car wash solution when you're done washing the body? You might be able to get away with it.

The EO A2Z is a potent cleaner. If I want a milder cleaner, I might reach for Griot's or the benchmark P21S wheel cleaner. They're both gentle and effective cleaners.

Clean your wheels, then seal them with a high quality polymer like Zaino or Klasse. After that, you'll only need your standard car wash and water to clean them. :up

What SRL said. A2Z is pretty harsh, and I would hesitate to use it weekly all year around. But for once a month, or once every two months, it's pretty safe.
