So the orange car is....

not orange.

Well, it is orange in real life but my digicam seems to be over exposing all the pictures I take in any sort of light. So here it is, the PINK VW Bug Convertible.

If anyone knows how to fix these, feel free to. I would appreciate it.

Heres what I did... I started out with a double dawn wash just to be sure all of the dealers glaze was gone. Then I went ahead and dried and applied IHG (1st time w/ this product, and I love it) after the IHG I followed with a coat of Souveran and finished with a PCM QD.

The car turned out SOO awesome, I have never seen reflections like them on such a light car. Too bad the pics didnt come out.

Thanks for trying. Its a Kodak DX3700 3.1 MP... it usually takes awesome pictures, I dont know what is up.

I also tried to fix them. I used Photoshop and messed w/ the brightness and contrast settings and got no where.

I messed around for a couple minutes with it in photoshop, tried everything I know, levels, colors, saturation, brightness/contrast, masking...nothing works.

I don't understand why any digi cam would take that kind of picture, it's wierd...I've honestly never seen a pic come out like that.

What setting did you have the camera on, as far as resolution?

Have you tried taking some inside shots with the camera? Is the same issue present? My guess is that maybe the camera was dropped - and something has gone wrong with it.

I've owned a few digital cameras - and even through I've take some shots directly into the sunlight, I've never created pictures like you posted.

Take some more sample shots and see if the issue presents itself in those situations.

It works fine inside. :nixweiss

Now im really confused, I dont think I dropped it or exposed it to moisture. It has been sitting in a closet for 2 months though, you never know who could have gone in there and messed with it in this house.... :nono

Oh well, I guess I will give Kodak a call since it is a week less than a year old (1 year warranty). Thanks everyone.

CRV is correct if its a Video camera, the better ones have a white balance control and the pix is indicitive of that. However, I don't think the dx3700 still has white balance control (I have dx 3500) and know it does not. Check your manual if you have it.
