So much more to learn...

Hey guys,

Alright, I have been on here reading ALOT for the past few weeks on exterior detailing. I have definitely learned alot from all you wonderful ppl :hifive: about exterior detailing. I actualy used my PC for the first time today and was absolutley amazed!! ALOT of swirls and marks gone, Ill have to post pics later. Anyway, back on topic...

I want to move onto interior detailing now. But to be honest im scared. When I start to learn the ins and outs of detailing I want to start detailing for $$. Im just sort of worried about detailing interior, especialy leather and cloth seats.(im worried about ruining them) Reading around the forum I've noticed that FOLEX is a popular choice for leather cleaning. And I was thinking of getting 303 upholstrey cleaner for cloth seats and such. What would you all reccomend for a carpet cleaner though? Could you use that same 303 on the carpet? Also, is there any products to stray away from that have a reputation for destroying finishes or anything? Like I said, for some reason interior just makes me nervous. Any help is appreciated.

Ive havent really heard about folex on leather but on cloth yeah its a very good product the 303 is also good but the main advantage folex has is its more of an otc product, target homedepot, even lowes have almost gallon size of the stuff.

Im also starting to detail for $$(mainly because i enjoy it) and there are of tons of things i still need to learn but the only i can is to practice. Just like you i would have never known how good the PC was if i had never picked up one and used it.

If you enjoy what your doing then there's nothing to lose.

If you do a search I'm sure you will come up with lots of threads talking about woolite. I use woolite and water with the little green machine and also use folex for stains. Carpets come out beautiful.
