So, Maybe I'm the Man!?!

Brenton

aka PEI Detail
A neighbor of mine bought a new Black car--unwittingly of course. Comes to me after 1 wash and two weeks, saying, "It's faded and scratched!"

I told him to go back to the dealer and assumed they would do nothing. They actually did something: sent it to the best buffing guy in town, a paint repair & body guy. I lost some $$, but that's okay--I want the best for my neighbor. I wasn't looking forward to the job since it is black and he is discouraged--his first new car.

When he asked the buffing guy what he should do to protect the paint, he said, "Have you heard of Brenton at _?"
My neighbor said, "Yeah, he looked at the car. He's my neighbor."
Buddy says, "Go see him; he's the best."

To me, that was a great compliment.:ra I've been here less than two years. I've never even met the guy, but word gets out, and I'm becoming the "place" for backyard detailers and people who care about their cars. That's cool.

So my neighbor booked in a weekly wash & monthly wash & wax (though I think that will stretch once he gets my bill).

I'm pleased. :winner:

That has to make you feel good.

Finding a good detailer is not that easy. I have thought to myself, "If I were no longer going to detail a car, who would I go with in my town?" I gotta tell you, the list is very short.

Good to hear your work is getting noticed. :bigups

That's a great compliment, especially from someone who you thought was the best. Keep up the great work!
