So, I've been meaning to try OC

Well, when life hands you lemons... I got to crack open the Optimum Compound tonight.

My wife called me today to let me know that her car was hit in the parking lot at work. Based on her description, I honestly expected worse. Here are the 'before' shots:

Some marring from impact and a nasty scratch & paint transfer right on the body line:

Dent in the front of the body line, and more scratches (if you look in the reflection, this is right behind the front tire of the SUV:

More nastiness (right behind the SUV in the reflection)

Under the halogens you can see one of the lines of scratches:

I used a clay bar to remove all of the paint transfer, and then applied the OC with a light-cut pad and the PC on max-speed. I made a couple of passes on the more stubborn spots, but didn't need to escalate to a medium-cut pad. All of the scratches/marring are gone. This product is awesome!

I followed up with a coat of Poorboys EX for protection.

We're left with a total of six dents, but I'm hoping one of the Dent Pro vendors can take these out. While the damage could be far worse, this is an unfortunate reminder that there are inconsiderate people out there who refuse to be accountable for their actions. Sigh.
