Haha you got me. So what's the plan of attack for the new ride?

I have to say, I am not a fan of matte black on a Viper. But to each his own.

I am going to Ferrex , Nano Skin, clay dirty areas, 2 step it (maybe 3 if I see a difference) Gloss Coat the Paint and wheels, Opti glass the glass. Need to figure out the trim as there is a lot of it. (Not sure if Gloss Coat works on trim, if not thinking Gyeon Trim as I know of nothing Else that a sure thing), Trying to find some Optimum fabric guard and leather guard, otherwise I will be going Gyeon on both of those.

sweet. what are you going to detail it with?

I plan on going fullout and protecting this thing (see above) , then selling sponsorships on each panel so that I can make back the $ I spend on my detailing habit. Would Autopia Like a Panel? Any takers.

Like that idea :D

This trim is the textured plastic You think GC is the way to go?
Is the trim on the Trailhawk different from the Latitude? I will check out my buddies when I see him next week but I don't see why not. GC spreads really easy so I would think use a softer applicator or more pressure with the CarPro block to get good coverage on the textured areas. Hard to say without seeing it though.

I purchased 2 tubes of Gloss Coat because I planned on coating everything Paint and Wheels. Not so sure I will do the skids! Have You (or anyone else) used GC on trim like this?

If you have had good results, I certainly have enough GC to do it.

Now the leather and Fabric are on the shopping list.

Hey VEGA- remember when you asked for Ideas? Well..............................

I think that anytime a member with more than 2,000 posts get a new vehicle, they should get a shopping spree as long as they do a write up within 3 weeks of getting the delivery from Autopia.

Effective Yesterday BTW.

Let me know fast please.

I would coat the skid plates too lol

JSFM35X- Hey, I'm late to this party, but congrats from me too!

Yeah, really like it in white, good choice. I've used OC v2.0 on suspension bits with good results, and I'd be all about getting Autopian on that undercarriage :D Just look at all the cool stuff under there!
