last night. As much as I didn't think I would, I found myself enjoying the hell out of it. I mean, it's not a GREAT movie, but it is a FUN movie.
I didn't finish watching it because I was just too tired, so I'll finish it tonight.
I just love the way Jackson made Kong actually look like a real gorilla instead of some of what has passed for a gorilla in older films. He even acts like a real gorilla (insofar as a giant gorilla fighting dinosaurs CAN act like a real gorilla
). The way he hams it up and laughs and such is very gorilla like. A nice change of pace from some monkey movies .
All in all, not a bad flick at all. Fun stuff.
